2007 and 2008 Resolutions

Everyone has been writing about their New Year resoultions for 2008. It's been ages since I actually make a resolution for New Year. I am a sucker when it comes to keeping my resolutions. I better keep this one because I need to have a change in my life. 2007 has been a bad year for me.

Too many sad things but I did have some good things like me and KC getting more closer and staying with Sasha has been great though she can get very cranky in the morning. I'm actually much closer to my family and I understand the hardship my dad went through just for me and my siblings. It's pretty much a year where I grown up quite a lot. I am not very mature but can la..mature a bit compared to last time. Being away from home taught me that family is the closest and trusted people in my life.

I learnt pretty much a lot in 2007 about friendship. True friends are the people who actually cares for you and tell you what's wrong instead of letting me to fall into the dark pit. I learnt that some friends are meant be just friends because they only appeared in my life like once in a blue moon. Friends that will never bother keeping in touch with you and only call you when they need to use you. Sad to say but I have a lot of these toxic friends in my life. I guess being a part of them is just a waste of my time. But I am glad that I have true friends with me though we are so far apart. Goh, Ting, KC, Yuen Hung, Chia Ling, Jerry, Sean (*lost touch at the moment*) and Sasha (*she's my housemate*) are people that I confide in when I need them. They are the ones that never look down on me nor judge me because of my wrongs. I am so lucky to know them in my life. I have other close friends too.I hope you know who you are. I am glad that I meet you guys.

Things will eventually changed in 2008. I'm gonna make sure that my 2008 will be better than my 2007. I have 10 resolutions that I shall try to fulfill. I said TRY...Please help me if you are reading this. Hahaha...

New Year Resolutions for 2008
1) Lose the weights that I gained in 2007 - I need to lose at least 8 kgs because I ate too much in 2007. I wana get clothes that I can fit in nicely without showing my spare tyres because those tyres are unbearable for sights.

2) Eat healthily - I've been eating too much junk food when I was in Subang. Depressed mah..now I will stock up the fridge with more fruits and vegetables. Cut down on pasta and eat more meehoon. Cook only small portions and NEVER drink too much soft drinks. I shall cut down on sugar and junk food is a NO NO! I should not drink alcohol too. It's fattening. FAT IS UGLY!

3) Get a new hobby - I have been living a very unhealthy life in Subang. I must get a new hobby to make sure that I have a life than no life. Salsa maybe?? I should check on any activities that suit me. Oh yeah..cut down on clubbing too. I inhaled too much smokes already and I do not wish to die faster.

4) Aim for all As in exams - I am so sick of failing and I should prove to everyone that I can do it too. I must prove to people who think they are better than me. People who think that they are greater than me..I must do well in my exams which means less chatting on MSN and watching TV (*I'm getting a TV next semester*) . I must do well to make my parents proud and I want my whole family to attend my Graduation in 2010.

5) Get a part time job - I already found a part time job and hopefully I will be earning some moolah for my charity trip in December plus funding my new hobby. Haha..I should be dedicted to my job as well as maintaining my grades in college. Hmm..could I do it?I have to because I have no choice. KC, you will support me right? I know you will..you don't have a choice. Haha..

6) Save money, Spend less - I am a big spender. I spend on unnessecary things which I never use anymore. I must save RM1 per day and spend less on fast food. By the time it is 2009, I will have RM366 extra in my bank account. I must not spend the money in my bank account unless it's emergency like medical expenses. Period.

7) Read more - I love reading but it's like I don't find much time to read anymore lately. I shall read more books and newspapers (*maybe watch news on TV will do*) . I am so outdated. I have no idea what happened around me. It's so sad..I must read more books too. Don't care magazines or fictions la..must read to improve my English so I can blog better. Hehe..

8) Spend more time at home - I miss home a lot and Ipoh is like the only place that makes me happy when I am in Subang. I must go home more often because I miss my family a lot and also Ipoh food. Hehehe..I must go back home more often because I hate Subang a lot. Everyone was like..wah..KL life more happening.Bullshit la..you will hate KL when you stay long enough.

9) Clean more often - I am a lazy bum and I must clean my apartment and room more often. I had all sorts of allergies when I didn't clean my room and apartment. I shall clean more often because I need a clean environment to study and chill. I shall stock up with detergents already. LOL..

10) Get involved - I must do more charity because I just feel happy helping people. Hopefully I can secure a few sponsors for a charity trip to Vietnam (*will blog about it soon*) . I want to help out people who need help more than me. I considered myself lucky because I can live my life in a proper manner. I have education and I have a good life though Subang or rather Malaysia has an increasing numbers of crimes. I should volunteer in other organisations too as well as expose myself and other people about Down Syndrome and Austism.

That's all for my resolutions. I hope I can keep it. I better be keeping it.Haha..ooohh..one more,I want to have a clean and clear complexion. I am greedy. Sue Me..Hahaha..what is your resolutions??

Don't Leave Me Hanging

I knew you for so long. Too long that I understand you too well. I wonder if you feel the same way too. I know I feel something for you though you ignored that something long time ago.

You are making me confused. I am too confused with how I feel that something for you. Could it be what we always are or is it more? I wanted to ask you again but the fear of rejection and ruining our strong freindship is not worth th risk. People encouraged me to go for you. You are just too good for me to let go. I just knew I have to let go of you. I can't bear you making me confused with hints that I am unsure of.

I know you care and love me a lot but the care and love you gave me could merely be what we called friendship. Wanting more from you is just impossible. You are ambitious and so I am.

Maybe we are destined to be best friends forever. I know both of us will treasure this more than treasuring something that might not last.

I just want you to tell me so I could erase that memory of wanting more from you. Fill me with those thoughts of yours about me so I could move on with my life. I want us to be happy with our strong bond which I know will last for eternity.

I guess all we could share is a bond called Friendship. More is probably burden especially we are so far away from each other.

Eat,Sleep and Shop Part 1

Today is a beautiful day because I am officially declare as the fattest woman in my circle of friends. Hahahaha..been eating nonstop when I am in Singapore. I can't resist those yummylicious food served for ME!!!ME!!!

Woke up a bit late today and we head down to Vivo City for a brunch in Tung Lok Signatures. We had dim sums which is like better than the ones I had in USJ 23. The one I had in USJ23 was expensive and not nice at all. Waste my money only..sadness..Tung Lok wasn't the greatest because my aunt said Imperial has better dim sums. To me, anything is better than the one in USJ 23. LOL..We had the normal dim sums food like porridge, "har kow" ,"siu mai" , egg tarts and "wu kok" . Then had some unusual dim sum like fried carrot cake, lotus leaf steamed rice, "siu yok" and some desserts after that. The food is there is rather good because it's hot and steamy plus they have a frappucino-ing good service to the customers. Their waiter and waitresses are polite unlike the ones in Foo San. Basically, it's luxurious and it's GOOD!!!

After filling up my tummy which is now rounded (*thanks to my eating habit*) , I jalan-jalan around Vivo City. Vivo City is located in Sentosa and it looks a bit like KLCC except that it's facing a sea instead of a city.What the frappucino am I talking about??!!Sentosa Island is just opposite Vivo City. Oh yea..you can see them building the casino there. Hmmm...

Today is a historical day because I owned my first Levis jeans!!!*applause* * clap hands* I know..I am being silly..it's just a pair of jeans. No it's not..it's a pair of Levis jeans which is 50% off and it's frappucino-ing cheaper than the ones in Malaysia. Wakakaka..some shops in Vivo City is having sale. MNG and Zara are having sales.Woohoo!!! Then I bought a top in Zara which is 30% off. I know..I am a sucker for sales and clothes. Which women isn't?LOL...If only I have more cash, I shall shop more. Muahaha..I fell in love with a dress in Zara which is about $90. It's a tube bubble dress and it's silvery black. I heart that dress but no way I will own it because it's frappucino-ing expensive for a student who is so bloody poor like me. Hahaha..

Esplanade Singapore 2007

I went to Esplanade for dinner yesterday with a camera which has only half a bar of battery. I know..sue me..which idiot forgets to bring camera when she is in Esplanade. I know..I know..what the frappucino!!LOL..

There was even a gig playing there yesterday. I am so sad already. I only take some random pics but no pics of gig because it was frappucino-ing dark and its not like I have those SLR kinda camera. Thou shall not blame me. The band was kinda good. I don't remeber the name of the band but if I am not mistaken, it's a local band in Singapore.

I had dinner in MakanSutra food court which is actually a place where the food are recommended by See Toh. See Toh is the host of the makan show called MakanSutra. I didn't managed to take the pictures of the food. Phone no battery mah..the food is so so only. The carrot cake is nice though. The Fried Rice from a Malay stall is too salty and the noodles from some shop is tasteless. I was hungry and I had no choice. The food there actually is not so good. Even the lemonade sucks.Sad...

Dessert is sooooooooooooo much better than dinner because I had Haagen Daaz. Hehehe..had one ice cream with brownies. It's damn good. The hot chocolate melts on the brownies and the ice cream. Yummy!I love Haagen Daaz!!!

People..get jealous..Muahaha...

Sushi Tei in Thompson Plaza

When one is in Singapore, one should go Sushi Tei for Japanese food. Well, at least that is what I do when I come to Singapore. Hehehe..Singapore has too many variety food from all over the world for me to eat. Now I know why I gain soooooooooo much. If only I am like nerdyfred..he is so skinny. He can eat so much like nobody cares and yet he doesn't gain much. I am soooooooooooooooooooooooo jealous.

Nerdyfred, if you are reading this..whats your secret? Mind sharing?Hehehe..

I had a scrupmtous meal in Sushi Tei in Thompson Plaza. This is a new branch in Thompson Plaza. Basically there are branches of Sushi Tei all over Singapore. By the way, Thompson Plaza looks a bit like Yik Foong in Ipoh but nicer and they have more nice restaurants and cafes.

Anyway, I had a yummy meal. I had Curry Katsu Don. The curry tasted like curry powder but it's not spicy. That is how Japanese curry taste like. Then had the best Cawamushi which is actually steamed egg with lots of seafood (*huge and chunky piece of crabmeat*) and gingko. It's soooooooo much better than Sushi King's one. Sushi King ones is too commercialised that their Cawamushi is downgraded. I had the salmon and tuna which melts onto my mouth when I eat it. The hot tofu is steaming hot when I eat it. Damn..its bloody good. What else? I had the fried squids also..that one is so so only because it was cold already. Curi some Unagi Don from my grandma and its frappucino-ing good.No shit..its damn good. After all the food, I gulped down a hot and steamy cups of hot green tea. Hehehe..

Jealous tak??Hehehe..I bet a lot of you are drooling already. Wait till you see the pics.Hehehe..

I Want David Tutera To Plan My 21st Birthday!!

I bet a lot of people have no clue about David Tutera. He is a party planner who plans faboulous yet classy parties. I am sooooooooooooo in love with him already.

If you have Cable TV at home, watch him on Discovery Travel and Living Channel. He is the MAN when it comes to planning cool party. I was watching him on TV last morning (*the repeat was at 2am*) and whoa..the party he planned for CBS to introduce hot guys from soap opera (*drools*) are magnificent. The party was held in NY hottest club called Cobar (*Not sure of the spelling*). The party is just FAB. It has a huge fondue fountain..umbrellas with plastic crystals draping from the ceiling...a water fountain in the middle and the goodie bag is fantastic. The goodie bag costs like USD378. That's like RM1000++. How cool is that?

If only the sign up party contest applied to Malaysia *dreaming* ,I would want him to plan my 21st Birthday Party. Woohoo.. *dreaming*

Updates From Singapore

It's been days since the last time I update my blogs. What to do?I am on holidays and still holidaying. OK la..I admit..I was lazy and I am still lazy. Hahaha..

I am in Singapore for holidays or rather I am here for purposes. Came here to visit my family..oohh..ooohhh...my cousins are super adorable. You can check those pictures in my Multiply (*strictly for friends and family only*) . I need to protect my family from any harm (*though I am no big shot*) .LOL...

Been here for like 4 days and it has been pretty fulfilling here. I ate frappucino-ing a lot. Had a BBQ Christmas Feast at my aunt's place and yea..I ate a lot. I think I gained another few kilogrammes. Then, the next day, I went to Bishan for some Taiwan food. I managed to take only the pics of the restaurant. Sorry..I was too hungry. The restaurant is called Ding Dai Fung (*not sure of the spelling*) . Their "xiao long bao" or dumplings is damn good. I mean damn good..people actually queue up to eat in this restaurant. The food is fantastic. Those who are coming down to Singapore, you should try their beef noodles and fried rice. It's frappucino-ing delicious. Hehehe..

Just got home from dinner. I had Mamak food here. I know..Sue Me is a stupid girl. KL not enough mamak meh?Well, the mamak food here is different. We called it Roti Canai..they called it Roti Prata. I think the shop I went to is called The Roti Prata House in Thompson Road. No pictures too..I forgot to bring my phone.Their Nasi Goreng with Ikan Bilis is so so only but their mutton curry is superb.I had Sup Kambing also..its damn good.It's just good.I can't explain how the taste is.You just have to come down and try yourself.Hehehe... I will snap pictures the next time I go makan for everyone's views. Hehe..I am sooooooooooooo enjoying my ahem eating spree in Singapore. Jangan jealous..LOL!

Welcome Back To Malaysia,Huw!!

After about a year leaving Malaysia, Huw is back in Malaysia.Me and Huw used to be ex-best friends and now we are best friends again. Hahaha..Met up with him in the Land of Seafood before I left for Singapore. FYI, I'm in Singapore now for holidays. I need a break away from Malaysia...away from all the dangers and risks back home. I don't feel safe in Malaysia.

Had a tea with Huw and he paid for it. According to him, he's the " Orang Putih Yang Kaya ". What the frappucino right??Hahaha...it was great meeting up with him..talking about old days (*not that we are that old*) .

Oh yea..I bumped into Mel before meeting up with Huw. Mel flew to Hong Kong with Mei Ling that night itself for holidays. I am sooooooooooo jealous.Hehehe..then, I bumped into Ronald. This good friend of mine is sooooooooooooo tidak berhati perut. Yau yee sing,mou yan sing.LOL..He's so gonna kill me when he sees this post. Like I care..Muahahaha..Oh yea, I saw Doraemon and Santa Claus too. Happiness..LOL!

I dragged Huw along with me to commit some felony too. You know..Living Cabin by Silver Ho, the decoration shop which sells pretty stuffs and lots of teddy bears..they don't allowed camera in their shop. Me being the rule breaker snapped some shots for my own pleasure. Wakaka..I took some shots with my phone though it's blurry.

When I was walking in the lanes of the Land of Seafood, people kept on staring at us. I was like, what the frappucino..what is there to be stare at?? Never seen any ang moh before ah?Frappucino.. I bet Ipoh people never see ang moh before. Please.. Huw was here for a year and they never see him before? Swt..

Yum Cha Sessions With The Guys

After dinner, I went for drinking with the guys from my high school. Please take notice..I was THE ONLY GIRL during that yumcha session. Hahaha..I know it's very weird but it happened.

We were in Nasmir, talking about the old days. How time flies!

Just realised that all the guys used the word fuck in every sentences when they talk. I mean what the frappucino right??

It goes like this,

Yea..those are what the guys said. Hahaha..don't be suprised. According to Avinesh aka Hairy Potter said that the word fuck can be used as a noun, adjective, verb, adverb and so on. Imean what the frappucino..what also can use hor..it sure is true..

Ipoh "Nga Choi Kai"

Yesterday was Tang Yuen Festival which is known as Chinese Christmas. It is actually the last day of the year in the Chinese Calendar.

Went out for a dinner with my family in an isolated shop in Pasir Pinji. I don't recall the name of the shop but it's in the middle of Pasir Pinji opposite a police station. It is a shop which sells "nga choi kai". Though it's not famous but the food is damn good and CHEAP.

I love Ipoh food.It's nice and CHEAP!!

My Dear Cousins..

I was supposed to go for a movie with my cousins but they FFK me last minute for FOOTBALL!! Guys...swt.. I was rotting at home because of them.

Went out for dinner with them just now in the Land of Seafood (*no more pics of food*) in Marrybrown. It's been ages I had food from Marrybrown. Both of them has pretty much grown a lot. My younger cousin, Julian is taller than me already and he is only 12. The older one, Joshua is all along taller than me.

We were in the car and they were teasing me about blogging. Julian was stupidly taking pics around him and annouced that he wants to be a blogger *faints* . He took ridiculous pics like the "Kurangkan Laju" sign and the car in front of his mom's car. What the frappucino!

Joshua told me a very very LAME joke.

Metro & You Cafe

I know the name of the cafe is sooooooooo weird. Don't ask me why is it called Metro & You..It's not located in the metro nor it belongs to Mr.You. It's located in Shatin Park in Ipoh. Bet a lot of you have no idea where is Shatin Park. Hahaha..

Had dinner with my family again in this small little cafe near my neighbourhood. We had lots of food. I mean a lot. No shit! Have you seen how me and my cousins can eat??LOL..That is why I gained hell lot of weights during holidays..Hahaha..

I had a Jasmine Green Tea and Seafood TomYam Noodles. My grandma had the "Sang Mee" while my uncle had Plain TomYam and Honey Lemon Tea. My aunt had rice and Ice Chocolate Float or was it Float Chocolate Ice?? My cousins had hell lots of food which they finished before I managed to snap any pics. Ish..cousins..

The food is not so bad and the price is affordable. The place is small yet nice. They have wifi and a jukebox too. Just a small and nice little cafe with marble tables with decoration that doesn't suit the food and the cafe. I have no idea how to explain it but the combination of the cafe just clashed with each other. The services is quite fine. It's comfortable and just nice..hehe..how many times did I repeat the word nice??LOL..
