My Day Starts With...

As usual I was making my way towards the bus stop to catch a bus to college. It was a nice chilly morning and I was really blur. I had less time of sleep as usual. After I crossed the road, I saw this motorbike. There was a guy on the bike scratching his crotch area. I felt uneasy so I sat on the other side. I was waiting for my bus and I flagged down Rapid U63 which NEVER stop for me when I am running late for class. Fuck Stupid bus!!

Suddenly..

Jenjarum Old Folks Home

RAC KL organized another community service outing again. I obviously join them for their meaningful services especially when this one. We went to Jenjarum Old Folks Home to visit the old folks. I woke up like super early to get my butt to college because my college was the pick up point for the outing.

We reached Jenjarum after travelling for about an hour. When we reached there, there were like 30 National Serivce kids there. It is a small place but it was crowded with people. After some formal introduction and some other stuffs, we mingled around with those uncles at that home.

Anyway, I was chatting with this uncle. He speaks Hokkien and I don't. So Uncle Cheong (RAC member and my RYLA friend) helped me translate. Guess what? This uncle speaks Malay.Better still. I can understand Malay. He is 85 years old and he has a damn good memory. He was telling us that he used to work as a foreman in Teluk Anson (*currently known as Teluk Intan*) in an oil factory. He lived in the Japanese Occupation era where he had to hid in the jungle from those Japanese soldiers. What happened was he hid in the jungle with his brothers. He had no chance to get to know girls and he is not marry yet until know. He is staying in this home for so many years with his younger brother and he still wants to get marry.

The saddest part about this visit is some people are just unfortunate that they live through hardship from young to old. Some are neglected by their children with the reason that the children do not have time to take care of them. I don't think that works well in this society. For myself, my parents take care of me when I am young and it is my responsibilities to take care of them when they grow old. That's the way it should be. I might not be the best daughter ever but I will NEVER ever send my parents to the old folks home. NEVER!

After the visit, we had a meeting followed by seafood lunch in Pulau Carey. The food wasn't great but it was good enough for hungry people like us. We had like 8 dishes and the cost of the lunch was sooooooooooooo cheap compared to so many places I been to.

I learnt something from this trip at least.

KSCB Gathering in Talipon Restaurant

I am a regular at Kenny Sia's ChatBox (KSCB) and yesterday we had our gathering with some other chatters in Kelana Jaya. Some of us met before but some of us haven't meet each other before. So it was a great chance for everyone to meet up and obviously a fulfilling and satisfying dinner goes with it. Come on.. it's an All-You-Can-Eat buffet for steamboat and BBQ.

After much planning and blog written by Ren for invitations, responses were rather responsive. Anyway, we had good feedbacks from the others at the chatbox. We met up in this place called Talipon Restaurant. It's some steamboat and BBQ place. It was quite cheap compared to other places in KL (*Ipoh still rockssss*) . The night kicked off with chatters and bloggers coming one by one. We had 13 people who showed up last night.

I am moody. Been having bad mood the whole day.

First, MSN gave up on me. Been trying to get in all day but all I got was disconnected from MSN. Fuck!! I seriously get so frustrated seeing myself in and out from MSN. Is it my connection or is it MSN? I don't give a damn. Screw both of it!!

I was in the mood where fucked up was the best word to describe myself now. I am just feeling angry. What was the reason behind such anger? No reason. I just feel angry. Anger burning in myself. I feel like hitting my fists against the wall. Perhaps pain would make the anger away.I have the urge to cry but tears didn't seem to well up in my eyes. I wanted to erupt into a volcano where lava flood myself. I have no idea why I never lose my temper to anyone.

I have this patience in myself. I accept insults and critisms but lately I get tick off so easily. I did not lose my temper but I just get annoy at little things. Perhaps that is just me finding my identity. It's negative but that is just me.

Maybe I am just experiencing mood swings. Make me angry and I am gonna make that person's life miserable.

A day before I depart back to hell, I went dinner with Nyet, Kyean and WaiKin. We went to Kum Kee in Pasir Pinji for Nga Choi Kai (*Chicken and Bean Sprouts*) . What happened was we ordered chicken but no more chicken wo. WTF WTF WTF I wanted to eat there for so long. I was craving for their damn good chicken and it was SOLD OUT!!! Fine..I had a good meal despite its small portions. It was cheap and nice. I am happy and satisfied.

Then Nyet picked Yeng up and we went for second round in Oldtown Kopitiam. Just chill and chat. Been sometimes I've seen them. I miss those good old days. Guess good times have to come to an end. I am back in hell now.
