August Flies So Fast!

Time flies freaking fast. It's so fast that I did not realized that tomorrow is September. I have been rather productive in August. I did a lot of things but I have no laptop to tell you guys about it. I have been laptop-less for a month plus already. Good news is I am getting a new one though and I am so excited. Gonna blog more when I get a new one. My Mom is getting a new laptop as well so I don't have to call her. I can now Skype her. Hahahaha..

Besides being busy chilling out, I been eating. It's not fun when the Ramadhan Bazaar is just next to my apartment. Every evening, the smell of ayam percik and other freaking nice food will somehow pass by my room before proceed to lure other people. However, I only been there once. I need to control my eating habits or I will never ever fit into my clothes. My parents would probably freak out to see their daughter. That's IF they managed to recognize me. Bad joke. Very bad one.

It's no fun when my plan to reduce eating is a TOTAL failure because I attended TWO BBQ parties in three days. I actually BBQ till 5am. I know like what turf right? Yes, I did it with 20 cents and the two elder Lee brothers. We grilled roasted pork, potatoes and other food till 5am. Grilled till imsak some more. It was fun because you don't have to share with other people. Bad bad idea to eat so much. I shall TRY to detox if possible. My cravings of particular food pop out nowhere some more. Freaking kan cheong..

My results is out but I have yet collected it. I am freaking out here. I just need passing though it might jeopardize my CGPA but better pass than failure right? Better pray for good grades. I needed it desperately.I realized that I fear for the same thing every semester. I shall work harder this semester. One more year to graduation. You tell me.. time flies fast or not?

I been spending a lot of time with 20 cents because he is like the only person who hears me out. Unfortunately, I don't have much friends that actually have the time to listen to me. But I have to listen to them when they have shits in their lives. Unfair but that's the reality. I am not complaining. Maybe because I am immune to it. In fact, I no longer have time for people who give me too much things to think. I have better things to think anyway. I need to think more about my studies. Not gonna emo anymore because it's not worth my time.

It's Merdeka today but I don't feel happy or whatsoever. It's just another day to me. I am not exactly a patriotic person. I am no near a patriotic person. I don't put up the Jalur Gemilang on my roof or car or whatever to show my "love" to my country. Seriously, it's just another day. I don't understand why everyone make a huge fuss out of it. Besides, if you really love your country, you can show it whenever wherever you are. Not necessary to show it on 31st August. I might have not gone through hardship but I am grateful to have whatever I have now.

20 cents brought me for a movie on my birthday. It's been so LONG since we watched movie. We watched UP! I cried in the movie because it's damn touching ok? I would recommend this movie to everyone because it's a very simple joyful movie. Nothing complicated. Just simple happy ending cartoon ;)

Maybe I should update more when I get my own laptop. I am eyeing on the latest one from Acer. It's very affordable and the specifications are damn awesome. Will be shopping in Low Yat tomorrow. Cheers!

RIP Columbus

Dogs are man's best friend. Such true and meaningful quote is highly appreciated by many dog lovers out there including myself. I always have dogs at home. Partially because it's a norm in my family to own a pet dog. If my memory serves me right, I always have a dog since I was born.

I have a pet dog back in Ipoh. His name is Mimi. My Mom named him a her name so that the old loyal female dog we had will always be in our memory. This particular Mimi is a sneaky hunter and he killed a cat when I was back for holidays. Enough of him though..

Last time, I always visit Fluff Pet Shop in NZX before they relocated. I go there on a weekly basis to see the dogs there. This unusual dog there named Columbus is blind but he is a very happy and active dog. He will just bark whenever he heard the bell on the door rang. He likes to bump into anything when he walks. He used his tiny little nose to smell his surroundings when he walks. It's very adorable of him.



Despite his disability, he lives happily everyday with no fuss. He likes it when someone rubs his tummy or just simply pat him on his tiny little head. It's really nice to see him run around with other puppies though he has no idea where he is running to. By the way, Columbus is a Yorkie.



The other day on Thursday, 20 cents picked me up to go for dinner. On the way, he told me that Columbus passed away. I cried and cried. I felt extremely sad that Columbus is no longer here. He passed away at 430pm and buried at midnight on the same day. He died peacefully in his sleep. He was just ONE year old.

Though Columbus is not my pet, I always feel happy when I see him. I somehow bonded with him. To think that I will seeing him in October but I guess the Lord decided to take him back to doggy heaven.

Hello Fall 2009!

Here I am sick again and skipped class for the first week because my head decided to take a rollercoaster ride last night until this morning. Sigh. I am so disappointed with myself for skipping class but I have no choice.

I haven't really attend all my classes yet because it's until Friday. I hope classes would be great. I need a laptop ASAP too because one of my subjects needed to use Ms Excel for assignments. Must call Dad once he is back from Dubai. I need one laptop so fast because I am also bored of staring at the ceiling and four walls in my room. It's my only source of entertainment unfortunately. I felt bad that 20 cents had to bring his laptop to me now and then so I can use it. Thanks boyfriend :)

Oohh...I was listening to Red.FM last night and I thought of giving a shot to win Daniel Merriweather's album. I sent in the SMS and I received a call from Nisha. I freaking won his CD. Wooohoo..can't wait to lay my hands on the album I won. I sounded like a tranny on radio but heck..it was very FIRST time on radio. Minutes of fame are like super important to me. Hahahaha..I quickly SMS MissMynx and 20 cents to tell them what I won after that too. Lol!

I shall rest more and fast so I would be able to go for classes tomorrow. I hate it when I miss the first week of class. And I am freaking hungry now. If only 20 cents is awake to bring me out for lunch..he needed his rest. He will be having his LAST and TOUGH paper tomorrow. I feel so kan cheong for him.

Note to self: MUST attend church this weekend especially Sunday. I miss the kids in Sunday School so much already. I felt so bad that I didn't attend last week. I better make it up this weekend. I so miss the kids!

As for whatever nonsense friendship issues I had, I decided to just ditch the issue because I am not someone who dwells on such silly yet stupid issue. I have better things to do. Besides, I am not that oversensitive person. It might be a little awkward to face people that you do not want to talk to. At least, I would have a peaceful life for the moment. I am surprised how I managed to ditch something that I usually will cry over. I guess I am tired of problems that I move on fast.

I am going to make sure that I am happy everyday though stress seems to be calling me now. New semester new challenges but I know I can overcome it. I just need to trust in Him to help me out because He has been helping me out a lot since I received Him in my life.

Gonna blog when I have the plug. Hahaha..I am surviving on battery because 20 cents forgot to bring his plug for me. :)

Super Kitchen Chilly Pan Mee

I been wanting to try the ultimate Chilly Pan Mee since like forever. I been pestering 20 cents to bring me but he never did until we stumbled upon THE Chilly Pan Mee shop in USJ 9 Business Centre. My dream has finally came true TWICE!

Went there for the FIRST time with 20 cents and the second time with my pastor. Both experiences were just simply delightful.

Super Kitchen Chilly Pan Mee was THE place that I wanted to step my foot in since 20 cents tells me stories how good it is. So, we went one day on a Sunday. The boyfriend made the orders and we waited patiently for our food.

Both of us had the Dry Pan Mee. In front of us was the DEADLY but great chilli paste where you mix in into your noodles. I took like half a scoop fearing for my life since I am not so good with spicy food and 20 cents had TWO huge ass scoops of that chilli paste. True enough..it was deadly. I literally burn my lips because of the chilli but it was so good that I can't stop eating it. Great stuffs come with great sacrifices. Hahaha..

The Pan Mee was served with a small bowl of soup with meatballs. We ordered the Sui Kow which was rather good. But the main attraction here is the ULTIMATE Pan Mee. It was so good that I am actually craving for one while typing this post.

His Birthday

This should be dated as 10/8/09.

This year is my very FIRST time celebrating birthday with 20 cents. His birthday falls in the same month as I do but weeks earlier though. By the way, August babies rock! 20 cents being 20 cents does not fancy anything that is too much hence the simple dinner and simple outing.

It started off where we went to pasar malam to jalan a bit and spent an hour to rummage through some stuffs he needed to buy. Then, off to dinner in Omitsu Koshu in Damansara Jaya. They served the best Japanese food at very affordable rate. The dinner was simple yet awesome. Just the two of us spending a nice time together on his special day.

He had Sashimi Bento while I had Unagi Bento. Satisfying meal that came with Agadeshi Tofu as side dish instead of the usual Cawamushi. The food was great as usual. Sashimi was uber fresh and it practically melts in your mouth when you eat it. Nothing much to elaborate on the food because I love this place too much so I would probably give a bias comment.

After dinner, we went back to pasar malam for another round of jalan-jalan to digest our dinner. Headed to Yippee Cup for some Bubble Tea treat and play cards. The night ended with TWO more Bubble Tea because I love it so much. Hehehe..ok, I had Vanilla flavor and it was so sweet that I refused to drink it. 20 cents had mine and I ordered another one. Such a sweetheart kan?

22 on 22/8/2009

I finally turn 22. Way legal to do anything illegal before I turn 18. I didn't celebrate this year because to me, it's just another birthday. Had dinner with my family when I was back in Ipoh and another dinner with 20 cents. That's all about it. Nothing fancy or crazy and I am actually happy that it's treated this casually for the FIRST time in my life. I used to go HOOHA over birthdays but not anymore. I am too old for crazy stuffs. Hahaha..

My INSIGNIFICANT day started off with waking up late on a weekend. Usual me. Then, I went on a calling and SMS frenzy to ask for help so I could go for church service. Replied some SMSes as well. Peter picked me up for church and he drove with one hand. I am not worried. I have faith in Peter and Him. I got to church safely by the way.

Message was good because I feel good. Then, some debate among zones. Not exactly a debate debate but it was fun to watch though. Hahaha..then, 20 cents picked me up and we headed to Jaya 33. Jalan around a bit since we weren't hungry yet. He brought me to D'Italian Kitchen. It's a nice and cosy Italian restaurant. It's so good that I must give this awesome restaurant a review.

We started off with some warm water with lemon. It's a little weird because usually people put in lemon with cold water. It was good in whichever way. 20 cents ordered their FAMOUS Mushroom Soup together with some Garlic Bread as starters. The Mushroom Soup is so good that I wanted to lick the bowl and spoons when I am almost done with it. You can chew on the chunky mushrooms pieces in the soup. It's not too creamy and not too diluted. The soup is perfect.

The Garlic Bread came and there were FOUR pieces. The garlic on top of the bread was a little brown and it made the bread smells really good. It's soft in the inside and crispy on the outside. We dipped the bread into the soup. Perfect combo ever. It's simple yet awesome.

I had Lamb Shank with vegetables and mashed potatoes. 20 cents ordered Angel Hair Pasta with Scallops. We ordered to share. Let me tell you about the succulent lamb shank I had. The lamb shank was tender and juicy. You don't even need to cut the flesh with the knife. You can easily tear off the meat with a fork. Then dipped it with the sauce and eat together with the mash potato. It tasted heavenly. The mash potato was served piping hot. I kept digging on the mash potato because it's hot and tasty.

20 cents loved his pasta too. I loved it as well. The pasta was cooked very simple with chilli flakes, garlic and some herbs. Simply delicious. The scallops is not too chewy and it's so nice when I bite on it. The juice of the scallops literally splattered on my glasses. It's a simple dish but the taste is magnificent.

Besides the food, the ambiance is simple and nice. Not overly decorated like some old Italian pub or something. The service was awesome. The waiters greeted us with smiles all the time. As for the price, it's very affordable. Both me and 20 cents' bill came out RM80. It's very reasonable for TWO person and the food portion is rather large so you can share with your family and friends.

I will definitely go back there again. After dinner, I had the lousiest fruit ever in MBC. I had pomegranate. It's a damn stupid fruit. I'll tell you why if I were to see you. The champagne grapes I bought in the other hand is awesome. I shall indulge it slowly later. Went back to church to hang out and then Starbucks for FREE on my birthday.

Now I am back home. I think I had a marvelous birthday. Nothing fancy but it's simple and sweet. I freaking love my 20 cents for bringing me to the Italian restaurant.

It's almost 2am now. I received damn gila a lot of Facebook messages wishing me Happy Birthday. Thanks a lot guys and girls! I really appreciate it a lot. I replied every single one who wished me after midnight. Thanks for staying up to wish me though I know most of you sleep freaking late at night. Hahahaha..

My FIRST birthday wish was from 20 cents sealed with a kiss. Awesome wish ever followed by SMSes and a lot of walls in Facebook. I am contented already. My family gave me angpow and brought me out for a nice dinner when I was back in Ipoh. I am already having an awesome birthday and I know I will be blessed abundantly.



I think I am at the phase of life where celebration no longer is important. A simple message from my friend is good enough already. I am contented with just one SMS. KC called me all the way from Singapore just now and that was like the bestest gift ever though he owes me like a sweater from MIT and many other gifts. Hahaha..

Blah Blah Blah Part 6?

Just another ranting post. I am still back in Ipoh. Nothing much has been done besides watching tonnes of DVDs. I freaking finish 32 episodes of Burning Flame 3 in FOUR days. It's a very good drama though. Gonna watch some movies later. Wanna cina-fied myself. It's been so long since I speak Cantonese. Feels kinda weird speaking Cantonese because I use English everyday when I am in KL.

I am not a banana by the way. I can speak Cantonese and Mandarin. Blek! Here I am in front of my cousin's laptop listening to Calvary again and again. It's my favorite song. I feel peace everytime I hear this song. The laundry is in the machine so I am gonna like sidai it later. I been lazy. I always have been lazy. Hahaha..I swept and mop the floor yesterday. Walk like freaking a lot in Tesco Ipoh. I been hanging out with my family. Went yumcha with my cousins. Breakfast with my uncle. I did a lot of stuffs with my family.

I like spending time with my family minus the nags and sudden screams added with some scoldings together with some comparisons. Yea..then it would be perfect. I am someone who doesn't like people to repeat themselves nor receive unnecessary orders. Sounds a bit too much but it's just me. Take it or leave it. I don't care if people don't like me. It doesn't matter to me because I freaking love myself and 20 cents love me too. Hahaha..

I need to start swimming again before I can't fit into my clothes. I need some determination to fit into my old and awesome Levis jeans. Damn..I should stop eating when I am back in KL. Note to self and boyfriend, no 223 after midnight. It hurts both of us very badly. I have the body combat CD and I am gonna try it out. I should get a portable DVD player instead of using laptop to watch it. Hm..need to check the pricing for one.

Summer Break!

I am currently back in Ipoh using my cousin's extra laptop to blog. I been living without laptop and Internet for weeks. It's no fun because my source of entertainment is gone. I shouldn't complain because it gave me time to read. I finished 10 books in less than a week. I am freaking awesome. It's been ages since I last read. I don't mind getting more books for birthday presents. Book Fair is on my birthday so *hints* to my family members. Hehehehe...

I gained weights and I seriously need to do some exercises before I turned into a COW. Those Lindt chocolates should be burn but then..it's damn good. I need to go back to my old weights like TWO years ago. I need to sacrifice my late night 223 session and Mcd session during exam month. And I need to give no shit abou H1N1 and haze so I can go for some exercise. I hope..

I am getting a new laptop. Woohoo..can't wait! My Dad is coming back to Ipoh for a short break. Hopefully I will manage to see him. Double woohoo..I have been killing my time watching Burning Flame 3. Damn kan cheong..gonna watch another 5 episodes later. Hehehe..

My holidays ain't fun but I am trying to enjoy every bit of it despite the emotional stuffs I am going through. I just need to rest in Him so that everything negative would go away. Damn.. I miss going church and I miss the kids in Sunday School. I miss 20 cents a lot!!

I have so much things to blog and everything is in my camera and my laptop. Sigh..no pictures again. Anyhow, I would probably update once I get a proper laptop. I can't wait for my new laptop. Triple woohoo..

Wishlist?

If you follow my blog, you probably know that my laptop crashed and it gave up on me. I was in this emotional rollercoaster not having to go online. I have the internet but I have no laptop. How sad can that be? I am using 20 cents' laptop whenever I am seeing him. But I will be heading back to Ipoh for a week. This means no internet for another week. Alamak! And then I have to do some researches for new laptop and get one before my semester starts.

It sucks that I need to ask my parents to get me a new one but I have no choice. I am hoping that they will get me one so I don't have to disturb 20 cents all the time to use laptop for work and assignments.

Better if someone blesses me with one new laptop before I get one. Hahahaha..I think a Dell one would be alright.

My birthday is coming soon and I have no plans and I don't wish to have any plans either. I just want a new laptop and some cash will do. Make wishlist also no use because people won't bother reading it and still gives me things that I do not use. A lot of things I got last year are in some corners in my room now. The only thing I really liked was the sunflower and my MP3. That's all!

I just want a new laptop for my birthday!! Or maybe a new camera since mine is like damn horrible.

Better Be Safe Than Sorry

I got a feeling. Tonight is gonna be a good night. BEP's new song is the bomb!

Yesterday was indeed a good day and good night for myself. I had enough sleep. I think more than enough since I always sleep late at nights. I need to TRY sleeping early because my sleeping time is so screwed up.

After I grabbed a bite, I headed off to cell group with the Lee brothers. It was usual fun session with the boys. Sharing and learning about Him is always fun to me.

Then, they sent me home. I chilled around for awhile at home, waiting for 20 cents to pick me up for supper with his friends. 20 cents smsed me and asked me to wait at the guardhouse as usual. I was waiting there, feeding blood to the mosquitoes. I am not complaining about mosquitoes because I am sort of immune to it minus the itchiness though.

There I was minding my own business until this WEIRD dude came up to me and asked for my name. Me being me ignored. He kept on pestering me and asked where am I going and all. Called me sister. That idiot is some weird foreigner working in Malaysia I think. I ignored him totally and stayed away as far as possible from him.

He repeated..

"Sister, I am asking you again. What's your name?"

He came nearer and nearer and I walked away and away. This idiot didn't get the message and came up so close to me. I shouted at him.

"DON'T COME NEAR ME OR I'LL CALL THE POLICE!"

He was scared I think. He ran off. Now I knew he stayed near my apartment area. This weirdo wore yellow micro short like Steven Lim and he has this ugly crochet looking thingy hat. Stay away from him if you see any foreigner looking like that...

It's time to search for my missing Pepper Spray.

Laptop still dead. Might get a new one..still using 20 cents' laptop whenever I can. hahaha..

Living without Internet

It sucks to know that I am living without Internet for the past few days. I am so attached to Internet like checking my emails everyday, blogging and play Restaurant City just surf around for information. Now I cannot do any at all. To make it worse, I can only have my laptop back after the 20th of August because I will be going back to Ipoh.

Smarty pants me left the installation CDs back in Ipoh. This means no Internet and no laptop for about THREE weeks. Now I am using 20 cents' laptop to blog and check my stuffs. Sad but his laptop is so much better than mine. He showed me some forum threads about my dearest baby and none are exactly good news.

It seems that my dearest baby has the tendency to overheat and the screen will go cuckoo after awhile because of the problemo with the motherboard. And me being me would restart again and again hence making my dearest baby a little lunatic. Now I can't use my laptop and I can't go online. If you know me and you are looking for me, try mobile phone. Mine is still working fine.

I been reading and sleeping since I have no laptop with me. My source of entertainment was radio and I was only listening to Red FM because my radio is damn old. The reception thingy broke last year and I have to slowly tune to get to the right channel. I like Red FM so no fuss. It's a good thing that I could spend some time on reading because I don't remember when was the last time I actually read. I love reading. The issue with me is I am easily distracted by my laptop hence the forgetfulness to pick up a book and read. I have plenty of books for me to read.

I traveled to KL yesterday all by myself just to get train tickets. I got it and I don't know where to board my train. Hahaha..I guess I need to go earlier to check where is the platform. I never take train before so this is my very first time and I hope I won't get into the wrong one. Haha..after purchasing my train tickets, I took the bus back to Sunway Pyramid for lunch. I waited for 45 minutes and I was soaked from head to toe because of the heavy rain. Not fun at all.

I went to Sunway Pyramid and ate alone in Sakae Sushi. I thought of using my SS card but rejected. Somehow it was expired. There isn't any expiry date at all on the card. Deng..not gonna visit SS for a very long time. After that, bought some stuffs and went to college to pay fee. Then, went home and slept but was interrupted. Church and dinner.

Now I am here to go online using 20 cents' laptop but not for long because he needs it to do his assignment. I am looking forward to go back to Ipoh to see my family and eat!!One week of relaxation but need to help my Mom to jaga my baby sister though. I can't wait! And I am going to miss 20 cents for sure.

Won't be having much pictures to upload because ALL my pictures are in my laptop. Sobsob..maybe I should pray and hope someone will bless me with a new laptop. I really need a good one to last me for years. Or maybe maybe someone will get me a new one for my birthday. Hmm..so much of daydreaming..

Laptop Died!

I never felt like this before. It's like someone killed my baby.

MY LAPTOP DIED!

I switched on and it functions like normal until I was led to a blue color screen stating that my laptop detects some sort of virus. It said I must check blah blah before I can go to the Windows and use it like normal. I was devastated when I saw that. I wanted to bang my head on the wall when it happened to me.

The pain is so horrible. I freaking cannot live without my laptop and Internet. It's my source of education as well as entertainment. Now I am left with NOTHING. I mean I still have my books and magazines but no Internet and no laptop. That sucks to the max for sure!

Worse of all, all my CDs to reformat and HEAL my laptop are in Ipoh. Why the heck am I so noobie this time? I shouldn't have leave them behind. I so regret that decision. I should have get Toshiba or Dell when I bought laptop two years ago. Sigh..I guess no point crying over spilled milk. At least, I learnt my lesson.

20 cents said he will help me fix my laptop and HOPEFULLY recover my documents. Another lesson learnt would be back up everything into my Hard Disk. And I learn to take care of my laptop better because without it, I have no life.

I am currently in pain emotionally. So don't talk to me nor disturb me. I am too emotionally hurt that I have no freaking mood to talk to anyone.

I need to pray for His Help for healing. Maybe I should put in anointing oil to help heal my dearest laptop.

Sometimes it's just so hard to decide what to eat for lunch or dinner. I am not exactly choosy unless the food taste awful. I want something good and cheap.

Mamak food has been in my budget list ever since I TRY saving due to some personal problems. 20 cents has been an awesome supporter to choose where and what to eat during our dinners. He recommended me to this place when we were still dating. From there, we frequent this place so much that the waiters knew what we wanted to eat and drink.

Welcome to my Selera Jaya 223 life!

This mamak place is located in Jalan 222 in PJ. It's located opposite the Amway warehouse and it's near the church that I attend. It has been an awesome spot for me to have breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as supper. The food is awesome and CHEAP. I am a cheapo so Sue Me!

Usually when I eat there, I would order Limau Ais (Iced Lime) and Nasi Lemak Yati which is packed nicely into banana leaf served hot and spicy. The Nasi Lemak is also served in plates with a piece of fried egg at the price of RM2. To add up the protein into my meal, the perfectly made half boiled eggs together with soy sauce and pepper added in some calories into my diet but it is all worth it. 20 cents prefer his with dark soy sauce. The cost of having these THREE sinful yet awesome food would be a damage of RM3.40 to my pocket.

Perfect Half Boiled Eggs

Recently, 20 cents is addicted to Bandung Ais (Iced with Red/Rose Syrup). It could be added with some Cincau (Grass Jelly) for the chewy sensation. You can have it regular or large size. That depends on how much you are craving for this drink. The drink is charged RM1.20 for regular and if it's large, it's RM2 with grass jelly.


Side order: Otak-Otak Muar and ask to grill till garing

Lately, I have been craving for Roti Bawang (Onion Prata) with dhall all over the roti. It's made into perfection and the oil just soak to my taste buds when I chew it. For myself, I like mine with damn a lot of onions and the roti guy would splattered onions all over it for the greatest satisfaction. 20 cents had Roti Bombay (French Toast) and Roti Bom. Last night, he had Roti Pisang (Banana Prata) and he loves it. If he loves the food means it's awesome. It was indeed good and cheap.

For dinner, I prefer to have some heavy food by this stall named Alahai. 20 cents called it the goreng-goreng shop because they have sorts of fried noodles, rice and others. I love this beef soup (Sup Daging) they served because the spices used goes very well with bread or rice. I would order Nasi Goreng USA (USA Fried Rice) which is fried with some vegetables together with a piece of fried egg and the sauce for the rice is made to perfection with some chillies and beef slices. It comes with a side order which is the soup itself. This only cost RM5 and it fills your tummy with satisfaction and definitely no more HUNGER.

Despite the cleanliness, they served good food with affordable prices. The greeting "Mari Mari Biasa" or even "Mari Kawan" are always heard so don't be shocked. It gives you good satisfaction and most of all, NEVER a hole in your pocket. What more can you ask?
