Seafood + Pork Noodles, OUG

20 cents brought me to this Seafood + Pork Noodles in OUG in this place called Restoran Makanan SunSea the other day. It's near the market. He said this is not bad and it's rather cheap too. Off we went to this shop on a super hot day where the sun literally burn me alive for lunch. 20 cents was so ambitious so he called the bigger portion of the noodles for each of us.

I had Dry Kuey Teow with the Seafood + Pork soup and 20 cents had Dry Yellow Noodles with Meehoon and the same portion of soup. Imagine my jaw drops when the noodles and the soup came. The soup was filled with seafood and pork; mountain high of seafood and pork. We had to ditch most of the noodles and just finished off the pork and seafood. Actually, I managed to finish my noodles. I ate more than 20 cents. Oh no!

The noodles was topped with fatty pork lard and some minced pork. The soup had lots of seafood from clams, squids, prawns and fish with minced pork and pieces of pork slices and and also spare parts of the pig (kidney, liver and intestines). Topped up with green mustard leaves (sawi) and it was mountain high bowl of soup. The soup base was so so la.. it has the flavors of the seafood and pork but macam a bit clashing though. I guess the loyal and faithful me somehow prefer SS15 pork noodles.

Overall, this OUG ones was just boleh tahan la.. And I was overdosed of pork that afternoon. Oh well.. it is always fun to dine with 20 cents on a weekday when he usually works.
